Mission & Values

We take our role as primary caregiver very seriously. We coordinate with Parents, Guardians, Support Coordinators and Public Fiduciaries, schools and Behaviorists (team members) to assist our clients to build skills in all areas; including community integration, socialization, personal development, etc. We then track our progress against specific and measurable goals as directed by each clients’ Individual Support Plan (ISP). We provide the training, quality control and reporting mechanisms that make sure all team members know the goals we are pursuing, progress to date, and what still needs to be accomplished.

Unlike many of our competitors, we serve members with multiple disabilities. We understand that the combinations of intellectual disability, mental illness and traumatic brain injury require specialized care. We subscribe to a philosophy which offers cost-effective, safe, personalized and quality care; fosters resident independence and individuality; allows residents’ choice of care and lifestyle; protects residents’ rights to privacy; nurtures the spirit of residents with dignity and respect; and involves family, friends and the community.

We assist members in a spirit of concern for their welfare, gaining satisfaction and a sense of pride for the value that we add to their lives. Our promise to our residents and their families is to treat your loved one as though they are an extension of our own families, providing kind, compassionate care regardless of what care level is needed. We have both the people and the training in place to ensure that members with multiple disabilities get the care they need, require and deserve. TLC recognizes this population is the most vulnerable population and deserve and require supports and services in all areas.
